Enlightened Master, Acharya Yogeesh, expresses his realizations on soul and what we call God. God is not a man in the sky, a father, or a judge, rather, God is combination of 3 powers, Generative, Operative, and Destructive (GOD). Soul is God. Tune In.

What is God? What is Soul?

For people of all religions God is a being, a Father who sits on his golden throne. He is omnipotent and almighty. People fear him because they think he can punish or they pray to please him. Why does God need prayer and praise if he is almighty? He does not need praise. These wrong ideas have been embedded in people’s minds.

God is not separate from us. He is inside of you; he is you. Whereas God is bodiless, our problem as people is that we are trapped by karma in our body. When the soul is released from karma, pain, suffering and sensation it achieves real freedom. That soul is blissful.

In reality we are that. God is not somewhere above in the “Kingdom of Heaven.” By expanding your soul you become closer and closer to God who is formless and shapeless. Those who claim that they converse with God are false because how can you converse with a bodiless entity? Conversation takes place only when there is body. But an enlightened can converse with God because when he leaves his last body he merges with the light. God is that light. God is a shining and there is no purpose to the shining just as the sun shines without purpose.

The shining surrounds you and if you can grasp it you can benefit from it. Your soul is that shining. There is no place where there is no shining. This shining surrounds all the galaxies; God is omnipresent and omniscient. Only the person can realize God can know the truth. By expanding yourself through a lot of spiritual practice, sadhana, you can realize this. Once you are expanded you will know what truth is and what the soul is.

This man is a Liar. …
This man is a Liar. He said ISLAM teaches God is our Father. Obviously this man does not know even the basics of religions. Also, if we are all God, then how come we can do evil? Is it because we are in this physical Body? Well i ask you who controls the Body? According to this man we are all God. So that means God commits sin? because after all we are the ones controlling the body.
I humbly advise people not to listen to this man, and search the truth. Which is definatly not this.

Oh, no I am not …
Oh, no I am not making any assumptions,I try refraining from judging others.I understand that everyone no matter who he is, or what he does at this present point in time,is eligible to go home back to God. However according to Krishna, eligible or being a veggie, does not automatically mean qualified to go back home, there is a huge difference and enmity to other creatures in all its various forms,is one of the major stumbling blocks on the path.

    Yes as I said I …
Yes as I said I appreciate the thought behind your comments but feel it a worthy query to ask whether you are, alongside of the noble intention to honor all of life by being a vegetarian, making various assumptions and judgments about other folks potentialities in realizing, knowing and unfolding God within themselves. I would agree that it is well to honor all of life but one does not need to cast judgments and limits upon how others can know God and unfold their spiritual journey. Peace

    its the negative …
its the negative karma that is created by disturbing other creatures lifes which halts a persons spiritual progress.According to scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita, one can not make spiritual progress meaning “Going back to God” as long as one is engaged in such sinful activity

    Hello,
    I …

    Hello,
I appreciate the thought substance behind the vegetarian comments but would simply offer that restricting direct access to Source/God or knowingness of Source/God or spiritual realization to only vegetarians is precisly the same type of exclusivity and divisiveness which you have attached to other sectarian ideologies. It appears that you are doing the same thing by casting your own vegetarian ideology as a required condition on experiencing/knowing/realizing God.

    Gods message has to …
Gods message has to be represented in a non-sectarian way, not like “my God and my worship is better then yours, no!” that is complete beginners understanding. They see different gods because of different names. Anyway, as long as any religious group advocates meat eating, there cant be any direct spiritual realization, only shadow reflections of the real thing, they r cheated

I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts.
    Bhagavad Gita 10.8
In the vedas it says God is formless meaning that He has no material form, the Absolute Truth is certainly not formless, a lot of people misrepresent this Truth. watch?v=BtkmG2dBY_8

    The …
    I agree.

The Christian/Judeo/Muslim view of God is outdated and false. God is the Universe. God is totality of Divinity, God is omnipresent, the mother and father, the child and parent, the totality of nature.

these are good teachings but most people are not ready for them. Most people need to believe in a santa claus god because they are terrified of losing their sense of individuality.
